How I started
Non of the UK Slime shops I found were aimed at kids, so I started making slime about 4 years ago and really enjoyed it. The problem was that they weren't very good! I was using eyewash, baking soda and PVA and they wouldn't last very long. When I wanted to play with it the next day it was always really hard and I had to throw it away.
For my 8th birthday my mum put together a slime making kit and I realised I could make amazing slimes by using the right ingredients. This is how Igby's Slime Squad was born.
I asked my dad if we could open a slime shop and he said he'd help me, so we spent the next few weeks, creating slime designs, logo ideas, finding local suppliers for charms, tubs and ingredients and creating the website.
Fast foward 6 months and we've sold over 1,000 slimes! Thank you to everyone who has bought, played with and enjoyed my slimes and slime kits.
